Purpose

Formalize and support micro food processing enterprises (MFPEs) for better growth and sustainability.

Eligibility
  • Existing micro food processing units with less than 10 employees.
  • Enterprises preferably engaged in ODOP products but not limited to them.
  • Individuals above 18 years with minimum 8th-grade education.
  • Unincorporated units owned by the applicant (proprietary or partnership).
  • Groups like FPOs, SHGs, and cooperatives involved in food processing.
Limit and Margin
  • Credit-linked capital subsidy of 35% of eligible project cost.
  • Maximum subsidy ceiling per unit: ₹10 lakh.
  • Beneficiary (applicant) must contribute minimum 10% of project cost.
  • Remaining amount to be financed through bank loan.
