Purpose
Formalize and support micro food processing enterprises (MFPEs) for better growth and sustainability.
Eligibility
- Existing micro food processing units with less than 10 employees.
- Enterprises preferably engaged in ODOP products but not limited to them.
- Individuals above 18 years with minimum 8th-grade education.
- Unincorporated units owned by the applicant (proprietary or partnership).
- Groups like FPOs, SHGs, and cooperatives involved in food processing.
Limit and Margin
- Credit-linked capital subsidy of 35% of eligible project cost.
- Maximum subsidy ceiling per unit: ₹10 lakh.
- Beneficiary (applicant) must contribute minimum 10% of project cost.
- Remaining amount to be financed through bank loan.
